Gonna run a weird experiment in the background for the rest of the year. If it works, then it might come to the foreground at any time. Here's the deal: Last year, I started a Skool group and put a lot of effort into it which didn't lead to much. It wasn't a Skool issue, it was a marketing issue. The whole thing didn't make sense at first glance, and that's a big issue. Even then, it grew to over 52 free members. But there was a big problem... Bots, spammers, and inactive members. So the real membership was about 5 or 6. This time around, I'm doing things differently. No free members. Not much time and effort spent on it. Weekly posts from me and replying to posts and comments as they come in. There are 2 levels of membership:
Here's the experiment though: I'm looking to get into the rapidly growing Skool algorithm and reach new people that way. But I'm not doing a free membership. Instead, I'm doing a Dollar Email Biz Club to start. (Dollar Shave Club anyone?) Meaning community access is a mere $1 per month. "What's the point?" Well, I sure ain't buying a Lambo from the dollar membership, unless I get thousands of members (and I still wouldn't)... However, based on my previous businesses and anyone who's ever sold anything ever, it's a lot easier to sell to people who have already paid you. This is not an endorsement of ridiculously low ticket products... But the principle is the same.
